Memorial Day Weekend is finally here! I’m sure many of us could use a nice long weekend by now. If you’re looking for something to do, this weekend is packed with great events to choose from!
There will be a Memorial Day ceremony in downtown Carmel at Devendorf Park on Ocean Avenue and San Carlos Street. The event starts at 11 a.m. at the World War I Memorial Arch with the ringing of the bell.
This weekend at the Monterey County Fairgrounds is the California Roots Festival. This is a 3-day event filled with music from around the globe, including reggae, hip-hop and blues. For more information click on the link below.

Mayfest Monterey Bay is also taking place this weekend at the Monterey Historic Park across from Fisherman’s Wharf. This is a 3-day festival featuring local and International beer & wine, food and musicians. For more information on this event please click the link below.
